With the integration of the windream ECM system into Microsoft SharePoint Server, SharePoint users experience new functionalities. Among other things, individual life cycles for document types can be set up and systems such as RAID, NAS and SAN are supported via the windream storage management module. Hierarchical storage management can be arranged on the basis of every document characteristic without programming.
Continue to work as usual
Documents stored via SharePoint are not stored on the SharePoint Server but directly in the windream file store. An automatically generated unique ID ensures that documents are always available immediately and without delay. Documents can be edited directly via SharePoint. windream archives not only the binary file but also the features, history, versions and rights.
